In January 2026, Zalando opens a brand-new distribution centre in Bleiswijk — complete with a modern company restaurant where we prepare fresh, tasty meals for hundreds of employees every day.

For this unique location, we are looking for Catering Assistants who want to help us build an entirely new team from the ground up. The site is easily reachable by bus, making it a great opportunity if you're looking to work locally.

Your role as a Catering Assistant

As a Catering Assistant at CEVA–Zalando, you ensure that employees and visitors can enjoy a delicious lunch in a warm and welcoming environment.
You’ll support the team in various tasks: serving meals, basic food preparation, operating the cash register, and assisting with banqueting services. Thanks to your positive energy, every guest feels taken care of.

What you’ll do

  • Warmly welcome guests and create a pleasant experience
  • Support with lunch service and light kitchen preparations
  • Handle cash register tasks and keep the counter tidy
  • Assist with banqueting activities such as meeting lunches and receptions
  • Keep the restaurant clean, organised, and inviting
  • Jump in wherever needed to support the team

Onze menukaart voor jou

  • Gross hourly wage starting from €15.14, depending on experience
  • Contract: 16–24 hours per week, spread over 3–5 days
  • Working hours: between 08:00 and 15:00
  • Minimum of 1 Sunday per month and 1 evening per week required
  • Saturdays the location is closed
  • Travel allowance and holiday pay supplements
  • 25 vacation days (based on a 38-hour week) and 8% holiday allowance
